1978 Raleigh Professional

Ron's Raleigh Pro that he found on the Internet is not only built exclusively from NOS components but has never been ridden. So clearly its solely a museum piece and Ron has plenty of other bikes to ride.  Like most high-end bikes of this late 1960s to 1987 era, it has a full Campy NR group of components along with other parts of the highest quality including Brooks saddle and Cinelli stem. It also has very nicely engraved GB  handlebars.

Growing up in a relatively small town in northern California in the 60's and 70's we had virtually no exposure to high end Italian racing bikes like the ones we would see photos of in the bike magazines in the library. The main exception were the Paramounts that the local Schwinn shop might have on display.  If there was another rather uncommon exception it would be a good quality Raleigh like an International.  On pretty rare occasions we might see the top of the line Professional like this. Bike is for sale to a good home.
